Description: Jesse Watson of Midcoast Permaculture Design will present give a presentation introducing the concept of permaculture design. Permaculture is a multi-disciplinary design science whose goal is the engineering of sustainable human settlements that produce more energy, water, nutrients and soil than they consume. Permaculture, in a concrete sense, is a form of landscape design and is useful to everyone from home gardeners to civil engineers. However it is also a practice of brand viagra land stewardship and much more, and we will talk about some of the ethics, principles, strategies and techniques. We will discuss the importance and potential of permaculture’s design-based solutions in today’s world of economic, energy and environmental uncertainties.
